Nostalgia with a chic uptown vibe.

The Legacy started it's life long ago as one of the original main street buildings in Eaton, CO. Built in the early 1900s, it became the local movie theater, the Gala Theater, in the 1920's. The building seated 200-250 guests bringing the delight of silent films to Eaton. With only a piano and subtitles, the moving images on the screen delighted the crowds. The addition of "talkies" kept the magic alive for movie goers until the 1950's.

The Legacy, sparks new life into this beloved piece of Eaton's history. Our goal with the renovations is to pay homage to the buildings' bones and history while elevating the building to a new level of sophistication. To help us stand out in Northern Colorado, we consulted with a New York restaurateur to help us create the  aesthetic and function for this beauty's new look.

Our vision

Classic brick walls are the perfect photo backdrop. Beautiful bespoke, handcrafted chandeliers become a focal point to the space. This is just the start, it's the vibe of the space that draws you in. If walls could talk...

The Legacy brings something that our downtown area has missed for a long time. It's a place to gather. We can come together as a community for a variety of community events.
