Wedding Venue Booking Policy for The Legacy Location: Eaton, Colorado We are so excited you selected The Legacy for your special day. We want to make this day is a happy memorable event. To ensure you understand the our booking and payment policy we have detailed the policy to ensure a smooth and enjoyable wedding planning experience. Please review the terms carefully: 1. Save the Date Reservation To secure your wedding date, a non-refundable deposit of $500 is required. This deposit will guarantee the venue's availability for your selected date. Once received, your date is officially reserved. The $500 deposit is non-refundable. 2. Wedding Package Planning Once your date is secured, we’ll work with you to develop a customized wedding package tailored to your needs, including services, rentals, and upgrades. 3. Payment Schedule The payment schedule is as follows: 50% of the Total Contract Amount: Due at the time of signing the contract and confirming your package. Remaining Balance: Due two weeks before your wedding date. Failure to meet payment deadlines may result in cancellation of your booking. 4. Date Transfers If you need to change your wedding date, we will try to accommodate your new date, subject to availability. Payments, including the $500 deposit, are transferable to a new date if requested at least 30 days before the original date. If the new date is unavailable, your payment will not be refunded, and your reservation will be considered canceled. 5. Cancellation Policy Non-refundable Payments: All payments, including the $500 deposit, are non-refundable. Venue Cancellation: If the venue must cancel your event due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., natural disasters), all payments will be refunded in full. 6. Final Contract and Details A detailed contract outlining all services, rentals, and terms will be provided. Final decisions on your wedding package must be made 30 days prior to the event to ensure preparations are completed. 7. Liability and Insurance We recommend purchasing wedding insurance to cover unexpected cancellations, damages, or incidents.
